About the role:
We are looking for a Medical Receptionist for a casual role, while supporting our team of doctors and nurses, answering calls, triage and booking appointments, billing, and administrative tasks. You receive a dedicated training program upon commencement, that includes a full orientation and induction, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager and colleagues. We ensure that you have the necessary skills and training to provide consistent and quality patient service to ensure your success in the role.
About you:
- Previous medical administration or reception experience (well regarded)
- Exceptional customer service skills and cultural sensitivity
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Current vaccination and immunisation status
- Intermediate computer knowledge and skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct
